An initiative of the Dubai Future Foundation, Dubai Future Accelerators aims to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of strategic sectors in cooperation with government and private entities in Dubai. The programme enables government entities to partner with leading technology companies. In addition to changing traditional work mindsets and developing entrepreneurial spirit in government entities, Dubai Future Accelerators is the largest accelerator programme supporting government pillar in the region.
H.E Khalfan Belhoul , CEO of DFF welcomed a number of Dubai Government executives and CEOs including His Excellency Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qatami Chairman of the Board of Dubai Health Authority, His Excellency Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, His Excellency Dawood Abdulrahman Al Hajiri, Director General of Dubai Municipality, His Excellency Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, Chairman and Executive Director of the Roads and Transport Authority , His Excellency Sami Ahmad Dhaen Al Qamzi, Director General of the Department of Economic Development, His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, His Excellency Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri,Director General of GDRFA Dubai, Dr. Aisha Bishr, Director General Smart Dubai, Abdulla Al Mane, General Manager of Etisalat – Dubai Region , and Othman Sultan, CEO of du, as well as other high profile executives and director generals.
The 4th edition of Dubai Future Accelerators included for the first time the launch of a two-week student training programme, where selected 10 students took the opportunity to work alongside government entities in Dubai and leading technology companies to encourage and empower young people to innovate and create the spirit of leadership in them.
The 12 participating government entities reviewed a range of future challenges, representing the most important sectors, including the security sector, occupational safety, infrastructure, health, transportation, communication, knowledge, humanitarian and others.
H.E Khalfan Belhoul , CEO of DFF, said: “The 4th edition of the Dubai future Accelerators saw the participation of 11 innovative UAE companies which reflects Dubai’s unlimited interest in promoting science and supporting talents and creative innovation to strengthen the UAE’s position as a global center for testing new innovations.”

The participating government entities reviewed the latest innovations in shaping the future that are in line with the challenges that were announced, using artificial intelligence technology and digital transactions systems that keep up with the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
